THE SECRET TO GETTING GOOD GRADES

Philosophically, good grades don’t necessarily measure success. So why do YOU need a good grade so badly? Getting a good grade is important because your grade is basically the gauge to your overall performance in school. After all, in getting a job, your employer wouldn’t be interested in knowing how rich and popular you are back in your college days, right? For someone who understands the impact of education to one’s future, he too, knows better than just attending classes and counting every tick & tock on the clock—the kid knows he has to get good grades.

 There is no shortcut to getting a good grade. For some, getting high grades is a piece of cake, while for others a little work may be of help. With all the study tips and learning methods out there, how do you know which one is for you? Although there is not a single recipe that particularly works for everyone, here are some general tips you might want to consider. As a student, it is expected for you to attend ALL of your classes. However else will you be able to learn the most out of your subjects? Second, be an active listener. You should take down notes and rewrite them if you can as this will enhance your level of understanding.


FACT: Getting a good grade is not just student factor. That is why third is, you must also participate in class. Ask questions. Clarify things. This will earn you plus points from your prof as well as help you eliminate any confusion. Fourth, use your textbook every once in a while. Reading is crucial to learning, and learning is crucial to having good grades. Fifth, do study--and HARD. Do it early, often, and habitually; and before you go out and socialize. And of course, the last, be a good test taker. Read the questions and analyze them carefully. Never forget anything you’ve learned and use them in attacking questions. After all, what good are these learning tips if you don’t apply them?

  1. your probably right in sharing those tips. with your advice, you can enlighten some hard headed students...I'm hoping, time will come more people will soon realized how important education is. more power!
